NPP North America Congress Ends in Chicago Amid Success Dr. Aaron Ohemeng CHICAGO:- On behalf of all Chicagoans that showed up September 13 for
the NPP North America 7th Annual Congress Dinner Dance, I would
like to congratulate my fellow party members in Chicago, the delegates
from US and Canada as well the general public that showed their tremendous
support. It was quite amazing at the turnout. It indicates how far we
have matured as a democratic people. I looked around and saw many well-wishers
including members from the opposition party NDC. Rectifying an apartheid wrong, uprooted South Africans win land back, develop ecotourism By DINA KRAFT Associated Press Writer KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, South Africa (AP) _ The apartheid regime herded the Makuleke off their ancestral lands in this huge game reserve, leaving only white shards of broken dishes and the concrete foundation of a general store as reminders of their presence. It took nearly two decades, until after the introduction of South Africa’s multiracial democracy, for the impoverished tribe to win back ownership of the land near the junction of the Limpopo and Luvuvhu rivers.
