THE FREES ARE COMING

They arrive at each function in bunches, ready to party at the expense of others. Not taking time to think about the operating expenses involved in the party or what the party throwers may be going through, “The Frees” drink, dance, eat, and then say goodbye without leaving a cent behind. It is time for people to realize that individuals that hold functions have intentions of fundraising. When the event is free, as in funerals, weddings, birthday parties and graduations or outdooring, one sees a throng of resplendently dressed folks, arms swinging, either in high-heeled or stilettoed shoes. They drink, talk and laugh vociferously. Some of “The Frees” commend the hosts, looking at them straight in the eye and congratulating them for throwing great parties, yet in the end they leave hoping the host may never catch up to them. Think again, the events are being recorded!

Most people do not have consideration for the individuals and the fundraisers they hold. One having an outdooring calls on friends and well wishers to come celebrate the advent of a newborn baby. One that has lost a family member also calls on all to come participate in raising funds to curtail some expenses.
