Rev. Gyermeh To Appear In Chicago Nov. 16 & 17

Rev. Dr. Stephen K. Gyermeh founded THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD FULL GOSPEL MINISTRIES, INC. in 1983 in the State of Maryland. Rev. Gyermeh, a Ghanaian by birth, attended the Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, Florida. After graduation from college, he entered into fulltime evangelistic ministry and ministered in many States in this country and in the Caribbean Islands.

ln 1983, a vision he received from the Lord led Rev. Gyermeh to start a church in Maryland as a first step in the establishment of a worldwide evangelical ministry. The Maryland branch, of which he is the pastor, has now grown to a church with more than a thousand worshippers in weekly attendance.

The Church of the Living God - Full Gospel Ministries, Inc. also has in Alexandria (V A), Atlanta (GA), Columbus (OH), Detroit (MI), Pasadena (CA), Richmond (V A), and The Bronnx (NY).

Blackwell are the distinguished honorees for the 2nd Annual “Living Legends/Passing the Torch” Awards Benefit honoring torch bearers and the proteges they have mentored to carry on their work Chaired for the second consecutive year by Diane Dinkins-Carr and Ertharin Cousin-Moore, the fund raiser will be held from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002 in the Harold Washington Wing of the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th.
