CHICAGO:- In honor of the centennial celebration of Etta Moten Bamett, “Papa’s Child: The Story of Etta Moten Barnett,” a musical biography of the legendary Chicago singer and actress written by Useni Eugene Perkins, opens on the eta Mainstage Thurs., November 15 through Sunday, December 30, 2001 at eta Creative

Arts Foundation, 7558 S.South, Chicago Avenue. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays; 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays. The popular “2-for-I” tickets on Thursdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. except opening and closing nights, continues throughout the season subject to availability.
