If you live in the Chicagoland area, I want you to turn on your television, pick up your remote control and surf channels 23, 28, 44 and 66. What, and more importantly, who do you see? Other ethnic groups producing television programs for themselves and their culture. These shows send a psychological, sociological and creatively autonomous message out into the ether.

GHANA’S OPPOSITION AND HARASSMENT 

With the sharp decline of dissenting forces in Ghana, the opposition is now insulated in a small and antagonistic group, who even where tolerated within the narrow limits set by the society, are powerless while they keep within the limit. They have been struggling to at least be heard, but no one seems to be giving them a hearing. Democracy hardly thrives under such a system. We have to be more open-minded and accept the fact that no country can make any meaning headway without the opposition.
