2001 to be held in Washington D.C. from June 24 to 27. Children with Type
1, or juvenile, diabetes ages 2 to 17 on the nation’s capital to tell
their stories and urge lawmakers to increase funds for diabetes research.
The event will include Congressional visits by the child delegates and
a Congressional hearing, where celebrity advocates, selected children
delegates, researchers and business leaders will testify. |
