Isabel Carter Stewart Sworn In As Advisor To National Endowment For The Humanities

Chicago - Isabel Carter Stewart, executive director of the Chicago Foundation for women, was among 10 distinguished Americans to be sworn in as new members of the National Council on the Humanities. The council is the advisory body of the National endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and consists of 26 presidentially- appointed citizens. The new members were sworn in recently after being appointed by former president Bill Clinton before his term ended
