Proceeds to Support Continued Musical Education in Chicago Public Schools

(Chicago—March 22nd) Sam Harmon, owner/operator of the New Hollywood McDonald’s is please to announce the first annual New Hollywood McDonald’s High School Sing-Off. The musical showcase begins on March 31st at the New Hollywood McDonald’s located at 70 East Garfield (55th and Michigan) starting at 11am and continue every Saturday throughout the month of April (April 7th, 21st, and the 28th)

Published by Scholastic Press and now available at bookstores nationwide, Mae reveals the inner determination that vaulted her onto the history books on September 12, 1992. Weaving lessons for everyone throughout the book, she speaks of the virtues of curiosity, tolerance, individuality, hard work, facing down and overcoming life’s hurdles.
