AFRICA CALLS - “THE PLIGHT OF AFRICA” By Ambassador Joseph Amamoo Barrister/Writer, Former Deputy Minister of Health in Ghana, Ex-Ambasssador to Hungary. The current annual gathering of heads of state at the United Nations,
in New York, has caused much public reflection on the miserable plight
of Africa. And it’s right and proper that the U.N, with all its other
problems, is placing due emphasis on Africa. For although at present Africa
is the poorest continent, and has been so for several decades, in reality

resources. CACC DISCUSSES AFRICAN BUSINESS ETHICS Pauline A. Owusu CHICAGO:- The Continental Africa Chamber Of Commerce (CACC) held a seminar

of Harris Bank, Ambassador Joseph Amamoo, and Pat Sonjani of the South
African Consulate among others. Black, White or Clear EXPERIENCED BY ROSINA KARIKARI Being a person of African descent, I’m known to have dark skin. It is
not choice of mine, a privilege of mine or a downfall of mine. In fact

color that is different from yours is not a downfall to the other person
but a privilege for you to learn more and open up to new things and new
worlds.
A PILLAR OF CHICAGO’S GHANAIAN COMMUNITY FALLS By Kwadwo Kyei He was a fixture at the Ghanaian community’s celebrated annual Ghanafest
in Washington Park. Always decked out in gorgeous, colorful traditional
robes, he would flamboyantly ride around the festival grounds on horseback
greeting the crowd, socializing with everyone, and acknowledging the well-wishes
of his numerous admirers, after the fashion of a true traditional leader,
which he was. |
